In February 2023 we were fortunate to witness a rare spectacle unfold right above Foresters Lodge during a storm. Five White-tailed Sea eagles flew 40ft over the lodge, it truly was a special moment and one that will stay in our memories for years to come. We were lucky enough to grab a video recording of the event, so why not book a stay at Foresters Lodge and be one of the lucky ones to witness such a magical wildlife encounter? 

We are fortunate to have resident Barn Owls that nest close by, if you watch closely or listen for their flight call you might be lucky to witness a ghostly sighting as they hunt over the meadow of an evening.
